Everything To Know About Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida For Family Fun

Peppa Pig is the rock star of the toddler set. The last British import of such magnitude was probably The Beatles. In the sixty years since Beatlemania swept North America the Fab 4 have finally met their (pink) match.

Seriously, every time my children watch Peppa Pig, it reminds me of the classic footage of The Beatles playing Shea stadium to throngs of ecstatic fans. “Papa, it’s Peppa!!!” they shout to me in unison.  Like a concert, the sounds of many catchy songs echo throughout my house as my children sing along.  Such is the song crooned by the character Mr. Potato.  He’s both a superhero and a potato that sings, “Fruits and Vegetables keep us alive, always remember to eat your five.”  It’s one of the many Peppa Pig melodies that runs on a continuous loop in my head.  But I digress.  So when my wife told me that the first standalone Peppa Pig theme park had recently opened in Central Florida, we knew we had to take the pilgrimage.

Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida

The park, appropriately named Peppa Pig Theme Park, is part of the Legoland Florida resort located in Winter Haven, Florida, about an hour south of the Magic Kingdom and an hour east of Tampa.   It is one of the newest parks in the area, having opened in February of 2022, owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments.

Compared to the more enormous parks of the Orlando area, Peppa Pig is of a more modest size and very easy to navigate with young children.   However, there was so much to do that we needed a full day.  It is possible to include entry to Legoland with a one day pass at an additional cost.  If you do add Legoland to your stay, I would recommend doing that on a separate day, especially If traveling with toddlers.  The parks are standalone but both entrances are located only steps from one another and both use the same parking lot.

If you book online a 1-day pass for Peppa Pig Theme Park only is $44.00 for everyone aged 2 and above; a 1-day pass for both Peppa Pig and Legoland is $129.00.   If you pay at the gate the price rises to $59.00.  However, these prices can vary throughout the year, given high and low season rates.  There are also options for multi-day passes as well as annual passes, and vacation passes for both Peppa Pig and Legoland. Ticket prices do not include parking.  But however long your stay the whole family is guaranteed to have a great time and form lifelong memories.

Rides At Peppa Pig Theme Park

Inside Peppa Pig Theme Park is a number of interactive attractions, amazing play areas,  gentle rides, and family-friendly amenities.  These include pirate ships, a sandy play area, a nature trail, and other character themed playscapes.  There are so many diverse and interactive things for your little ones to have fun exploring.

Some rides have strict height requirements or guidelines in which the child must be accompanied by an adult.  All those with height requirements are clearly marked at each ride and available on the park’s official website.  Employees, rightfully so, are strict at maintaining these requirements.

Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster

The park’s only roller coaster is Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, a perfect first “big ride” for a toddler.  This was our longest wait for a ride, about a half hour, but it was worth it.  The line is fun and interactive as it meanders through Peppa’s house, which makes the wait a fun experience for kids.  My daughter was thoroughly entertained seeing all the furniture in the house as well as the video/audio of Daddy Pig searching for his misplaced car keys.

Listen for yourself.

Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride

Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride (did you listen to the song linked above yet?) is an aerial carousel ride that takes you high above the park and offers really awesome views.  And, in case you were wondering, the song is played while you are riding.

Puddles and Pirates

The Muddy Puddles Splash Pad is a small waterpark (no mud!) with slides, water spouts, and, of course, the popular song that Peppa sings playing in the background.  Like the song from the show, your children will enjoy the “splish, splash, splosh, splish, splash” and dancing in the muddy puddles.  My daughter, the eldest, was in pure joy here while she played there with her mother.  During this time, I took my son to the nearby Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride. This is an enjoyable, easy ride, and your child can be the captain!  Then we visited the Pirate Island Sand Play area. Both attractions kept him thoroughly entertained.

Dinosaurs!

My son also really enjoyed Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure. The ride combines two of his favorite things.  You and your little one get to ride a dinosaur through a prehistoric park filled with not-scary dinosaurs and smoking volcanoes.  After my daughter was finished with the splash pad, she also wanted to ride a dinosaur.  Multiple times……

Other Attractions (and food)

One of my favorite things about the park was there were things to do that my children loved that allowed my wife and me time to decompress and relax.  The indoor cinema is one such area and the perfect place to unwind and take a siesta from the Florida sun.  Inside, the space is filled with large bean bag chairs to rest on while watching episodes of Peppa Pig on the big screen.

Near the cinema is Miss Rabbits Diner, where families can order hot food like pizza and smoked brisket sandwiches, as well as a number of different children’s (aka Little Piggies) meals.  The menu also has vegetarian options.  The standout item of the menu are the Muddy Puddle Milkshakes.  Both the Chocolate and Strawberry flavors are simply delectable.  You’re gonna want to order both.  It’s for the family……

Peppa Pigmania comes alive when the children can see her in all her glory!  The park has two interactive live shows featuring Peppa.  You can also take your little ones to meet Peppa at Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena.

There is a really nice play area called Rebecca Rabbit’s Playground that was very enjoyable.  It’s safe and soft for the inevitable fall most children will have from running up the “mounds.”  An extra cool feature is that children can crawl into the rabbit’s burrows.

We really enjoyed our time at Peppa Pig theme park and are planning on returning in the near future while the kids are still toddler aged.  Until then, I will enjoy not getting those songs out of my head.
