Who Are We?

Rina Baraz Nehdar is Founder and Editor of L.A. Family Travel and mom to two rambunctious boys. Her life’s mission is to expose them to cultures outside their bubble – and to get them to stop fighting.

Her writing has won awards for print, television and radio journalism. Before kids, she appeared on television and radio as a news reporter and anchor. Rina switched to print journalism in between her baby’s naps and neglected chores.  Since then, she’s become a frequent, happy contributor to many publications specializing in Family Travel, Business Luxury Travel, and general travel (see links below).

Brimming with ideas, Rina founded and now edits this digital family travel magazine which aims to help busy, adventurous families everywhere overcome the challenges of traveling with children and find great family trip ideas through experiential stories filled with essential information.

L.A. Family Travel features local writers from across the country to incorporate authentic insights into destinations so families can make the most of their vacations. These family trips can be with kids, or other moms, or romantic trips for parents.
