Best Time of Year to Visit the Caribbean with a Baby
The best time of year to visit the Caribbean with a baby is between December and April, outside of hurricane season. Even though it’s technically the Caribbean’s winter, winter temps are mild, ranging from high 70s to low 80s during the day. It is also less humid, with less rain than in other seasons. Babies will be more comfortable during this time.

That being said, it’s best to wait until your baby is at least a few months old before putting them on a plane to the Caribbean. Air travel comes with the risk of being exposed to germs, especially during cold/flu season in the US. Your baby’s immune system will be stronger if you wait.
Where to Stay in the Caribbean with a Baby
Families have many options along the Caribbean coast when traveling with a baby, many with kids clubs, babysitting services, and other amenities that make a Caribbean vacation with a baby possible.
