Grand Park Royal Cancun hosted Knox and me, which was our first experience having a butler at our disposal. Since we didn’t quite know what to do with him, we didn’t ask him for much. He did reserve a cabana for us, which came with the room class we stayed in, the Villa Junior Suite Plunge Pool, a 667 sqft. room at The Villas by Grand Park Royal Cancún, which had two double beds, a private terrace with a plunge pool, and room service 24 hours a day. This hotel is an affordable all-inclusive luxury resort, in the middle of the hotel zone set on a private stretch of the Caribbean ocean.
This Grand Park Royal Cancun, has two pools, a vibrant and clean kids’ club and a spa. Knox had his first massage in this spa and he came out with stars in his eyes, saying he’d never felt anything so good.
There are four restaurants and lounges are included in the price. Dining options include El Mirador restaurant, which serves breakfast and dinner a la carte, with Italian dishes in a fine-dining environment, Cocay restaurant offers a buffet with international cuisine. Flor de Sal offers seafood dishes for lunch & Mexican gourmet menu for dinner and El Oriental Restaurant serves oriental cuisine in a festive atmosphere with a chef performing with food before he serves it on the teppanyaki. (Though they don’t let you take your leftovers back to your room).
