Bellagio Fountains at Bellagio Hotel

For an inexpensive, and by this, I mean free couples’ experience, let the fountains at the Bellagio do the work of setting the mood for a romantic weekend. The Bellagio Fountains at Bellagio Hotel were designed with romance in mind. It’s one of the most romantic hotels in Vegas, IMO.

Book a room at Bellagio for a romantic getaway

Book a fountain view room at Bellagio for lovely views and romantic vibes.

With over 1,000 fountains in front of the hotel, water soars 460 feet up into the air, all choreographed with music and lights. Book a fountain view room that has floor-to-ceiling windows where you and your love bug can see the fountains dancing in time to the music in the moonlight while enjoying room service in your luxurious hotel room. Shows currently happen every 30 minutes from 3 pm to 8 pm Monday – Friday and, from then on, every 15 minutes until midnight. On Saturdays and holidays, the show starts at 12 and on Sundays at 11.

Another free romantic Bellagio attraction is the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden. A vibrant display of colorful flowers and plants spreads throughout a sky-lit atrium in the Bellagio lobby. Spend your morning hand in hand, wandering through the themed botanical gardens and garden paths that change throughout the year. Experience the magic of the season, from Nutcracker-themed Christmas displays to summer garden displays bursting with brightly colored flowers and greenery. It’s a true feast for the eyes and the heart.

Garden of the Gods at Caesar’s Palace

Be treated like the goddess (or god) you are at Caesar’s Palace’s outdoor pools. Swim, gamble at the in-pool casino area, or lounge in a cabana at the Garden of the Gods Pools. Featuring seven unique pools, Roman-style colonnades, and statues, this oasis in the desert has everything you need for a romantic poolside afternoon.

Mandalay Bay’s pool area is another great option if you are looking for more ways to get wet and wild with your honey. Both the giant wave pool and the lazy river at the Beach at Mandalay Bay are iconic and give you plenty of options for fun in the sun.

The High Roller Observation Wheel

Ride the High Roller and experience Sin City in a whole new way. The High Roller Observation Wheel is a romantic way to experience the energy of the Las Vegas Strip with views from 550 feet. Each cabin has 360-degree views, and the wheel takes 30 minutes to do one full circle. Lovebirds know…a lot can happen in thirty minutes! Tickets range from $24.99 to $59.99 per person, depending on the package you choose. Opt to go during the “happy half-hour”, and get tickets that include the 30-minute High Roller ride and an open bar.

Eiffel Tower at Paris Hotel

Quality time and panoramic views are guaranteed atop the Paris Hotel’s Eiffel Tower. Watching the sunset up here against the silhouette of downtown Las Vegas is as romantic as it gets in this city. Take your love to the top of the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Hotel for a romantic view and dining, too—with a delicious modern French meal at the Eiffel Tower restaurant.

Whisk away to Paris, the city of love in Las Vegas, perfect for couples.

You can purchase tickets for different times of the day or evening, but your best bet is the “Anytime” tickets, which are about $44. The best thing about this attraction is you can stay there as long as you like. So, if you are planning to pop the question but are tongue-tied and a ball of nerves trying to get down on that knee, you’ve got time.

Romantic Gondola Rides at the Venetian Resort

The Venetian hotel oozes all things romantic. Every room is an opulent suite with its own living space and marble bathrooms, and each area of this hotel is luxurious and sleek. For couples looking to experience a bit of Italy during their Las Vegas getaway, one of the most romantic things visitors can do is book a ride on the Gondolas in The Venetian. The ride lasts around 15 minutes, and the singing gondolier, outfitted in the traditional striped shirt and red sash, serenades lovers with a song or two during their journey down the Grand Canal, beneath bridges, alongside cafés, and under balconies. This enchanting gondola experience will cost $29 per person in a shared gondola (4 riders per boat) or $116 for two in a private boat.

Start your couples’ weekend with a romantic gondola ride.

Take a Hot Air Balloon Ride

Imagine Sipping champagne with your sweetie while floating over the Las Vegas strip and glimpsing Hoover Dam. Hot air balloon flights last around an hour, but plan three to four hours for the whole experience. Make sure to opt for a champagne toast on landing, too, perfect for those looking to propose or celebrate special occasions. A word to the wise: Layer up for your balloon ride— there’s no hug from your honey or hottest showgirl in town that will keep you warm enough when you’re sailing in that thin air.

Helicopter Rides

A helicopter ride is so 007! Take your Bond girl or Bond guy on a helicopter ride that is nothing short of romantic, luxurious, and memorable. Lift off from McCarren Airport and take in aerial views of Hoover Dam and the Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge en route to the Grand Canyon. Once you’ve landed, sip champagne on the floor of the Grand Canyon. On your way back, fly over the dazzling lights of the iconic Las Vegas Strip. This couple’s adventure is a bit pricey, but with all your poker winnings, $300 is small potatoes and a small price for a heart-melting, unforgettable experience.

Wow, your Vows Vegas Style

Have you dreamed of walking down the aisle to Elvis’ Blue Suede Shoes? Make it a reality with a marriage proposal, if that hasn’t happened yet (I suggest in front of the fountains, or at the top of the Eiffel Tower, or at the Stratosphere) and a wedding at the Elvis-themed Graceland Wedding Chapel. Already married? Chances are Elvis was not at your first wedding, so what are you waiting for? It’s time to renew your vows Vegas style, complete with photos of the happy couple alongside Elvis.

Invite Elvis to your Las Vegas wedding to be the wow in your vows.

Relax and Reconnect at the Spa

Vegas is the ultimate destination for luxury relaxation. Treat yourself and your other half to a romantic getaway in one of the many world-class spas in Las Vegas. Unwind and recharge your soul with a weekend full of spa treatments.

Canyon Ranch Spa is one of the largest and most acclaimed day spas in the United States. Why not take advantage of this incredible spa with over 150 full-service spa treatments? Canyon Ranch has a variety of packages and day pass options that cater to your visit and needs. Awana Spa, is a spa of Vegas proportions. It is the first of its kind, complete with personalized treatments, immersive facilities, and approachable wellness offerings. In a few words, it’s pure luxury.

Stay in and Rekindle your Love

Put that Do Not Disturb sign to good use. You and your partner can have an amazingly romantic weekend getaway without ever stepping foot on the strip. That’s because Las Vegas hotels go above and beyond, offering guests a myriad of shows, dining options, and gambling at card tables or slot machines. Some of the best hotels in Las Vegas are designed to let you linger longer in your hotel.

Book a room at the Encore at the Wynn. Rooms at this huge resort are great choices for couples who want to lounge by the pool or play a round of golf together. This resort offers plenty of fine dining options and unique experiences, from private cooking classes to comedy shows and winemaker dinners. I highly recommend the latest Wynn show, The Awakening; it’s a dazzling mix of mythical-looking characters and fantastical performances and visuals.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is another favorite hotel on the strip. It is understated, but once you look around, you realize how gorgeous it is. This hotel houses the Chandelier Lounge, which has three floors of swanky vibes and offers unique drink concoctions. And of course, have a cosmopolitan at the Cosmopolitan.

If you love restaurant hopping, Aria Las Vegas is for you. This hotel has 16 restaurants and 10 bars and is truly the culinary epicenter of the Las Vegas Strip! For a romantic dinner, check out Aria’s newest restaurant called the Cathedrale. This restaurant gives off a French gothic feel and offers French Mediterranean cuisine. This hotel is a vacation within a vacation.

The Mirage Hotel is a more affordable option off the strip. If you are looking for a mellow couple’s getaway, book a room at the Mirage, catch a show, and relax.

The Stratosphere, or The STRAT as it is now officially called, offers the SkyPod; a place to enjoy panoramic views eating dinner in a rotating restaurant. Don’t worry, this isn’t the teacup ride at Disney; the SkyPod won’t spin you off your ax…is!  But if it isn’t your cup of tea, opt for a few drinks in the 107 SkyLounge or try the creative cocktail menu at 108 Drinks. And if you’re really up for a thrill, hold on to your honey in ways you never have while riding STRAT attractions like The Big Shot, Insanity, and X-Scream.

Fremont Street

Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas offers couples the chance to have a romantic getaway without the huge price tag. Cheaper restaurants and hotels line Fremont Street, where visitors will also find fun interactive restaurant experiences, a light show, and a historic casino scene. Try your luck at The Golden Nugget, sample the Shrimp at Du-Par’s, or whiz over Fremont Street on the zip line.

Cirque Du Soleil

Las Vegas is the perfect place to watch a Cirque du Soleil performance because there are so many to choose from. Currently, there are seven different shows in the Las Vegas area. Be prepared to gasp and awe at the amazing aerialists, which is a wonder in and of itself, but also at the stage and the props and the backdrops because, like everything else in Vegas, they’re over the top! Whichever show you decide on, it will be a night you will talk about for a long, long time. And, if you are anything like me, you will leave with mental plans to sign up for an aerials class, how hard can it be, right?!

I grew up with a red Webster’s Dictionary on the kitchen counter, which is where my love of words and crafty writing was born. My constant word doodling and storytelling was also a pretty good sign I was destined for the writer’s life too. I am a master brand storyteller, creative ringleader and kick-a content creator, based in Park City, Utah, where I live with my three incredible kiddos, my guy, and three of the goofiest doodle doggies you’ll ever meet. My specialties include copywriting, content creation, word smithing, editing, proofreading, SEO marketing, brainstorming, and picking brains. I’m also very good at multitasking, single-tasking, and “I’ll just do it myself” tasking. Last, but certainly not least, I specialize in spontaneous bursts of sheer brilliance. I traded life near the Pacific Ocean for mountain town living in Park City, which actually feels like a chill beach town…so, it’s a pretty even trade, except for the snow – obvi!
